Sevan Drilling ASA: Monthly Operational Update for June 2013
Sevan Driller achieved a technical uptime of 75%. As previously reported, a main shaft bearing had to be replaced and this work was estimated to cause up to seven days downtime. The main shaft bearing was replaced in June and caused seven days downtime. Sevan Driller is back in full operation after the replacement of the bearing.
Sevan Brasil achieved a technical uptime of 92%.
Construction of Sevan Louisiana is progressing according to plan and reached 90% overall completion. Commissioning is progressing according to plan. A naming ceremony will be held for Sevan Louisiana at Cosco Quidong shipyard on 20 August, 2013.
Sevan Drilling Rig no 4:
Construction of Sevan Drilling Rig no. 4 is also progressing according to plan and reached 67% overall completion.
